Voice Xtreme V30 Complete Review
On August 29,2013 Voice launched its Quadcore series which performed well and are going good, we have reviewed in depth one of them, Voice Xtreme V60. Voice launched two dual core phones as well, namely V30 and V40. So now here we are with the Copmplete review of Voice Xtreme V30 :). let's have it in TEKREVU style.
Cost Of The Phone
This phone costs about PKR 11,700 in retail, but you can easily get it around 10800 to 11000 depending upon your location and place you buy from, or your ability to bargain :)
Design
The design of the phone is quite simple it neither is very bulky nor the slimmest but its round edges do provide feel of a smartphone that is bundled with all the feature you need for today's use. It is compatitively light in weight compare to V40, it might be extra 1.5 inch screen that is making difference.
The front of the phone has 4.0 inch WVGA LCD IPS screen. Comparably large bezel space can be seen on the top and bottom . A 1.9MP front facing camera is located above the IPS display to facilitate video calling. Their is no LED notification light similar to Voice V60,V40, but remember, V70 has LED notification light for Sms and other notifications.
Below the screen lie three capacitive buttons for Android running devices and are sensitive enough and we have good remarks for it.
Moving over to the back of the handset we can see Xtreme V30 logo sitting proudly at the bottom of the handset. While VOICE logo can be seen in the mid half. The 8.0 MP camera module and its accompanying LED flash is located towards the top left side of the Android running phone i.e when you are looking from the back side. Similar ly at the bottome left is the speaker of the phone. It has a removable back cover as expected under which you can spot the dual SIM card slots and a micro SD slot. Black color device has all front color and back black. while back cover is a glossy black plastic, which is shiny and we feel the grip of mobile is not that comfortable and it might be slippery for people who never used glossy back phone. Company should provide a matte black cover instead of white or add another matte finished one as they have done with Voice Xtreme Quadcore V70.

Memory & CPU
The phone comes packed with a mediatek MT6577 1 GHz Dual core processor with Power VR 531 GPU. One benefit of the device is that it supports apps to be stored to SD card. So memory is not a big issue for this and you can install upto 32 GB card.
Display
The Voice Xtreme V30 has a 4.0 inch 480p or WVGA display(233 PPI) So it has better PPI compare to Noir A8 which has 217 PPI. The viewing angles are quite fair though not the best. Color reproduction is great and brightness is quite good for the normal use. This display has quite nice viewing angles as IPS LCD is renowned for it.
Software
The Voice Xtreme V30 runs Android 4.1.1 under the hood with a custom UI layer on top. Android experince is smooth, as the it is almost Vanilla android OS, The transitions are too fast and we are satisfied with them.
Synthetic Benchmark Scores
Nena Mark 2 Shows a better result but not that good, but it is more then many competitors.
Quadrant Standard Shows adequate result for an entry level dual core

Camera
Voice Xtreme DualCore V30 is equipped with an 8 MP camera that has ability to can shoot HD video and thats also at 30fps. This is accompanied by a 1.9 MP front facing camera. Our experience with the camera on the V30 was satisfactory considering the price point. You will have to wait a little unless we do our camera test. Stay tuned.

Connectivity
Comes with Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR, WiFi and GPS. Though their is only Assisted GPS and no Glonass.
Battery Life
Voice Xtreme Dualcore V30 has 1800 mAH battery. Battery life is quite decent for an average user it will almost work for a day or more but as this is only a guess and depends on the user. but for our usage it was good.
Final Verdict
Voice Xtreme Dualcore V30 is a decent phone in terms of the capability. Similar sort of phones was launched with the name Qmobile Noir A8 but with a higher price, so this phone is nice alternative at lower price. but an edge is 3G, when ever it comes to pakistan Noir A8, sort of phones will be outdated
Finally we will say if you are OK with a device with 512 MB RAM, For daily usage its a good phone.Its matte finished back is able to make it look beautiful, Beside design its an nice performer and Provided the warranty of United Mobile, it seems to be a good choice compare to Qmobile bad service centre services and the number of handsets reported for repairs are high, We will guide you to go to United mobile service centre first before buying this device to ask the number of handsets reported for repair, as United mobile is dealing the warranty issues, and they are sure the better name to believe on.The device performed well for our hands on and testing, and gave a nice feel at hand, even more than V40, beside its big screen , V30 seems a gud little cute performer.

Bought this set as features were really impressive. But honestly the specifications are just blunt lies. Camera seriously fuzool hay. Bohat hee beqar. 8mp tu bohat dur ki baat, ye tu shayad 2mp say bhi beqar hay. United mobile people are liars!!! Trust me do not buy this set. Mujhe ye set lay kar itna gussa aya tha kay I want to do bad marketing for the people of United Mobile only because they are lying!

Deleteis phone ki speed boht slow he RAM 512 MB hai but lgti ni its speed got much slower and it starts giving error of low memory. koi bhi game play nahi hoti karo to low memory ka error dy kr bnd kr dta he. Any solution for this issue
ReplyDeleteubaid it happens when you have installed many apps and they have filled the internal memory, these 512 RAM phones do have this problem, you shud do one thing, that will do gud remedy for it
Deleteclear memory by uninstalling unwanted apps, and if you have not moved apps to sd card, do it by going to apps option from setting, if you do not know how to do it , do leave a reply for us to guide you for that
you can also keep .apk files of few apps that you use once in a month, so that you just install them , use and again uninstall in this way u will be able to use ur phone with out any slow downs and apps will not crash

ReplyDeletecamera is little better here . but ir depends on personal choice and brand belief as well, we would personally prefer voice over qmobile due to better warranty support only, may be others will go for qmobile as it is an old company and has got good resale value
