Broadcom Introduces New Quad-Core HSPA+ Processor

Broadcom will soon roll out a quad core HSPA+ BCM23550 processor (ARM Cortex A7) with NFC, 5G Wi-Fi and GPS that will work indoor too. This chipset will be clocked at 1.2GHz with integrated HSPA+ and videoCore multimedia.

This chipset is loaded with enhanced features, is power efficient and cost effective. The new entry to mid level handsets could probably come loaded with this chipset pretty soon. Feature wise the Broadcom BCM23550 processor has already beaten the MediaTek MT6589 and MT6589T processor and we hope it is as affordable as the MediaTek chipsets.

Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Release Date Allegedly In October

Last year we got rumors of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie which was expected to be revealed by google early 2013. Currently we got news of update to 4.3 instead of key lime pie 5.0.But the question of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date still arises. According to a new rumor, this particular update is going to be released in October 2013.

Sources claim Key Lime Pie to behighly optimized, and only require512MB of RAM which might help higher fragmentation due to which still higher used Android OS version is GB 2.3, but still their is no confirmation for the news and alot of questions are their to be answered by Google. Motorola X Phone and Nexus 5 are going to be devices that will have this version pre-installed with them. and since their is no confirmation for the news we still can not believe this news as the first news was dates long back 2012.

we have been listening to the rumors, of M4(HTC one mini), here is another leak One mini placed side by side to HTC One. Rest of the details of the leak include 4.3-inch display, an all alloy body with protective plastic ring and powered by a dual-core Snapdragon 400 CPU running at 1.4Ghz.
Android 4.2.2 out of the box and feature the latest version of HTC Sense 5 which includes BlinkFeed. and the same camera ultrapixel with the update that has been made for HTC One.

But stay tuned lot of thing to be revealed and their are many devices going to be announced by all players to compeat each other in mid range section :)

Sony Xperia M gets priced in UK and Germany

Since we were expecting and still think Xperia M to be available at a less price but current pricing made available in two countries says some thing else.

The single SIM version in Germany from Cyberport.de for €239, while the dual-SIM version is listed at notebooksbilliger.de for €299. big difference between the two versions that does nt seem practical. But we have to see they are two different sellers in Germany.

Price is not much differenty in UKHandtec has the single-SIM model for £227.99, currently listed as out of stock.

This will bring a lot of improvement in usability and the multitasking will have its new class, and we suppose all that issues apple customers getting from as being down sider to Android will be eliminated since apple has been working for it for quite alot of time. We will have to see when iOS 7 is finally checked out for all of these improved uses.
But its brand new look for the operating system with flatter icons and UI elements. All icons are redesigned around a standardized grid providing a unify look. It also brings animated wallpapers effect has been added.

Multitasking is completely revised that allows apps to update much more often,with no extra battery waste. and is done by keeping track when you use a specific app and lets the app update during that period. The same is done when you power ON your device as battery is currently being used by the system, so at the same time update work is done. It will check for radio signals and with that radio signals being used already it will update different apps.

New updated interface for siri and it targets Google Now with card-based UI and new services to provide answers to your questions (Twitter, Wikipedia and Bing, take that Google).

And yes, their is notification center has been rebuilt from the ground up to provide info about today's goings on (birthdays, weather, upcoming events from the calendar, stocks and even some info for tomorrow). Notification center also show up on the lockscreen. Also, once you dismiss a notification, it goes away on the other devices too so you don't have to see the same notification multiple times.

The camera too is completely revised,features four modes – regular stills and video, square photos with color effects (hi, Instagram) and panorama.

The Photos app changed and sorts your photos based on where and when they were taken - puts some meaningful title to the collections. Zooming out shows new auto-generated albums for multi-day trips and zooming out even further groups the photos in years.

Updates to Safari and App Store, audio-only Facetime option just which is a VOIP actually , by AirDrop apple has answered to NFC and all those jokes put on apple users are answered, iTunes Radio which is an ad supported music player app just the same as mac, a cool weather app that shows the weather in multiple cities with beautiful animations, forecast for today and tomorrow and the weather for the next five days. Now check weather for more then one location.

Samsung Ace 3 goes official

Samsung has always been good at its mid range, its ace series has been fabulously marketing

The key specifications will be 1GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB of RAM probably it will be same as newly announced Xperia M, 4GB internal out of which 1.77 GB user accessible and supports up to 64GB memory cards.

A 4-inch TFT LCD display of WVGA resolution. 5MP rear camera with LED flash, capable of recording 720p HD @30fps video and VGA front-facing camera for video chat. Along with dimension of 121.2 x 62.7 x 9.8 mm, 115 gram weight and 1500 mAH battery.

Connectivity options will include this time LTE version as well with 1.2 Ghz and 8Gb internal,the battery 1,800mAh, and slightly heavier and thicker at 119.5 grams and 10mm,respectively. It also advances on 1080p video playback as well. HSPA speeds upto 42Mbps on the LTE versions.

Other than that we will have a 3G version with connectivity suite includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (single-band), Bluetooth 4.0, and A-GPS. The 3G play back is limited at 720p. HSPA limited to 14Mbps.

A dual-SIM version will also be available in some regions.

No words for pricing but it will be soon available as Samsung targets its early marketting to compeat with Xperia M and needs to put it up into the market before xperia M.

Gfive G9 - First Mediatek Quadcore from any registered company in pakistan

Since its been long wait for pakistani customers and they were expecting from either of the two players Qmobile or Gfive. but this has also to mentioned that many did nt expect it from Gfive first. But as we said earlier at the time of A9,A11 and A12 release time Qmobile has to do it now to release a Quadcore or else others will do it before they actually do it, ans here it goes the mobile Gfive has been teasing in ther fb page turned out to be a Quadcore. yes the president codenamed mobile is Gfive G9 which is just released at a price point of 21000 PKR. Till now we do not know its complete detail but as we get we will update the

Nokia Lumia 820

Nokia lumia 820 is not much different compare to 920 on the basis of speed and the OS it has as it has the same CPU, GPU, RAM but what differs is actually some thing that may even be regarded as a plus point and some of the users will find Nokia lumia 820 to be device for them compare to Nokia Lumia 920. main differences that it has is presence of VGA front camera vs 1.3 MP in Nokia Lumia 920. Pure motion HD and Pureview camera is absent what you have in Nokia Lumia 920. and an amoled screen WVGA screen compare to 728p HD IPS LCD screen is what you miss, but a smaller 4.3" screen does not make it any inferior to it, and even presence of 1600 mAH battery compare to 2000 with IPS of Nokia Lumia 920, actually lasts more than Nokia Lumia 920.

When Nokia was at a stage when it needed to survive , something that could have goven Nokia a stand so that they could be up in the market with some revenue, Nokia released it X20 lumia series including 920,820 and 620, followed by 720 and 520. thus making it all the way from entry level to top end. here we are talking about Nokia lumia 920, which is no doubt state of the art at its own with some features and capabilities, that after more than half a year years other leading including the top two are not able to match. Its absolutely about the technology that Nokia has incorporated with its device, others do the same, like samsung,sony, apple and so on, but Nokia has a camera that along woth pureview gives such a low light performance which lights up almost five times the actual lighting condition are , which is great, and still no one to match or pass Nokia in that, other than its sucessor brothers Nokia lumia 925 and 928, which are still not available worldwide, and 920 is top WP OS device at most of world locations.

No doubt Nokia survived but actually it made quite brilliant impact on the smartphone market as it is one and only company selling almost more than 90% WP 8 devices, which shows people interest on Nokia is still alive and once they some how overcome the appstore low count issues they can be in the number game again and become No 3 company atleast. WP8 already got No 3 spot as OS after android at 51%, IOS at 31% and WP at 5.5%, leaving BB behind with 0.7 %. So its not the same time and same revenue that Nokia has to build its research and we know that Nokia is having constant support of Microsoft who are working all the way out there to beat Google as an OS makers. and they do not have revenue issues.

Since it has been quite a while since we we heard any new device announcement fom sony after ther mid and flagship line up, sony has finally announced to compeat with likes of Ace, Galaxy Grand quatro to some extent, but in the market it will probably fight with likes of nokia lumia 520 and 620 as well, as they are quite good affordable WP8 OS phones. This phone has same dual core processor as lumia 520 so we can expect a low pricing to be announced.

HTC ONE mini (M4)

Since its launch HTC One faced alot of availability issues,but later HTC ONE was able to make actually quite fine in the market and has taken it away from sudden bankcurrupcy. But HTC is proving out to be a smart mover as new marketing CEO is quite energetic and his decisions seems actually what we have been expecting from HTC from a quite well years but good decisions and actually market targetting devices are appearing now and it seems HTC in targetting not only lower ranked SONY, HUAWEI, or LG market sharing companies but SAMSUNG which is quite good for them as they should not lose their preceeding years work to make their name as a well built smartphone makers.

Since mid range was quite empty in HTC range, HTC is now coming up with a 4.3" devices for people where pocketability is an issue, and quite a lot of people including us voted for a 4.3" screen smartphone should be the size for the flagship smartphone. So high end mini from HTC might be the righ one or atlest close to it. Here are the specification, 4.3" 720p screen, dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and an UltraPixel camera. It will have stereo speakers on the front and run Android 4.2 with Sense 5.
