Yes it does lag but it should not be called as hang bcz the lag is noticable but it will not stop your operations and tasks, you can even get rid of this issue by selecting a different theme option that are already available with in the phone, for us NOVA launcher worked and it did not lag, so you can try either of the launchers

Ali we did nt face these issues, it may be a issue with the particular handset, if you have any friend request him to share his experience here

this problem occured to us, handset became unresponsive sort of freezed but came to life, it just happened once and never again, as you mentioned memory card issue it never happened with us

But Ali one thing personally speaking, all these handsets made by china OEM and provided to us by Qmobile are of below average quality, we rather prefer a better dual core

Sony Xperia L is a better choice for a user who is agreed to invest 22k, shud not mind 25k for Xperia L, even if you get some more discount with out warranty, but new handset is almost 5 times preferrable compare to Qmobile, bcz who knows what does it bring at the end to you a complete loss or around 5k if you go for 3k cheap option

If you compare Galaxy S2 plus with this sure S2 plus
but if you compare S2 plus with Xperia L, we will not recommend S2 plus, reasons and little comparison as follows
S2 plus has less powerful and less renowned company processor from Brodcom vs Xperia L has dual core Krait processor from Qualcom(The no 1 in mobile phn chipset making renowned for its high quality)

S2 plus has same memore as Xperia L
Sc plus has amoled Screen vs TFT lcd, S2 PLUS has an edge here but personally speaking if you would leave a better powerful phone xperia L for just an amoled screen? does nt make sense

S2 plus has an OLD design from 2011 vs Xperia L has it from recent
S2 plus will not be updated to key lime pie android 5.0 announced by samsung, vs Xperia L chipset is able to support, though their is no official wording from Sony until now

gaming sure xperia L, and camera too,
the only thing you can say is less compare to S2 plus is the screen difference, otherwise nothing is downside, thats why we said to go for Xperia L

Xperia L is better in terms of performance i.e speed for camera it might be tie or even HTC Amaze might take very minor edge at night situation especially, so decision is yours, to all those who buy xperia L it is a fantastic design phone but with it you must follow the instruction to open it carefully

Consider Xperia L without warranty from market instead of S2 plus, a better processor option

Faizan it depends how the manufacturer has opyimized OS with hardware, though hardware is same but the OS customization is made in A900, which migh be the result of these games not able to run, other factors we discussed already

M using A900 from 2weeks.. its awsome running phone.. m playng real racing 3 , nova 3, n templerun OZ, n also NFS most wanted.. its running very smooth with no lags n i kinda luv dis phone now.. its best in al qmobiles till now.. yeah its camera is not dat gud bt still its better..its not bad dat much...in my opinion its gud phone n have no issues till yet

it is not recommended, because recently due to similar issues S3,S4 and iphone5 have got blasted of electoured the user resulting in death, so do not use any thing for you phone that is not recommended by manufacturer or Qmobile

A900 no more with us, so can not practically check it rite now, if some how we can get back to the device we would, but if it is possible for you reset your device then check installing apps again on the phone might do the job

Xperia L if your main concern is speed of the device such that gaming

and Amaze if you main concern is a camera phone

but with amaze you have few facts to consider, its battery timing is too low compare to Xperia L, morever it comes to the market in grey(refurbished alot) even you might get a refurbished one with brightex warranty

and the very bulky weight of amaze, but it depends what other device u have used before, particularly ours experience with amaze was, it took 10 days to become familiar with its weight

another point to look will be the design of xperia L is user frienly its button at right compare to top place is weird, and we personally will prefer xperial bcz

and the battery problems attached with amaze

yes it does have, the phone with the name of real OEM has already received one update, but it has not been customised for A900 yet

hope so as per Qmobile's promise :), btw this is first one that has been announced for OTA update from Qmobile or even the China OEM itself, and as china OEM gave update for its own version, so we can expect the same update for Qmobile

btw the update has arrived for improving camera, as we have written in our rebiew how pathetic camera is even compare to A20, a cheaper one, from same OEM and Qmobile

If you are asking the best among all you mentioned, keeping price aside, one and only xperia L, no second thought

basically both have same bad camera, else tese two phones are better compare to others in the lot, andtey shud be preferredone over oter only for the screen size and design aspect you need, else no bog diff inside or in durability

Qmobile's support is not enough to say satisfactory but Gfive is still in new phase of development all the service network, but remember, Gfive is a company it manufactures it self and Qmoile is a rebranding company, but its been their for long has quite managed

if u have to by only camera then among the three mentioned best shooter is amaze 4G, but has less procseccor speed comapre to Xperia L as it has older version dual core only and Xperia L has got dual core krait so processor speed u can get xperia L is 1.25 times of Amaze,

more on it to mention is older version in amaze versus latest in Xperia L, another thing to be careful when buying amaze is be sure u r not buying a refurbished handset as this set has been their in the market for quite some time and, refurished sets are available most of places

we personally have used amaze during feb march 2013, and recommend this set only if u need best camera phone, when u can sacrifice with it low battery capacity and heavy weight that was the only reason we did nt keep it with us, otherwise it is a very good handset from HTC

1 day might be possible but in simple words you will need to charge every day

other phones that have heavy usage 1 day time might give you 2 days, but any battery that is around 2000mAH, is entitled for every day charging

basically its the screen size you prefer else the design of A900 is quite compact and fits easily in hand and pocket but few people do watch movies and excessive game play is easy for them in bigger screen so they prefer G9, morever G9 is preferred now after sudden price drop to 18k vs 22500 of A900, and now there is another Voice V60 and V70 option available at 19k and 20.5k respectively with a better camera 12MP, shud consider this as well for comparison before you finally decide a device for u, GUD LUCK :)

it is an acceptable handset for the replacement of a smartphone from any branded company, but it is not as good as GS3, only thing u may like is its outer design, else every thing will lack S3

S2 plus, thugh not a very good handset, but compare to A900 we would say a reliable one

check how much memory is left with internal storage, when u move apps, still little part is remained with OS in the internal storage, and that storage if filled will give you same error

if you do not have any problem with the bulky weight of htc amaze, go for it else A900 is a better replacement from the lot of Qmobile if you want to stick witgh this company else go for xperia L, if you can increase some cash :)

Do not get worried for this issue, your phone is OK and rest of the memory you do not see is taken by the Operating system installed on the phone

if an update comes from the company and you get connected to internet, their will be a notification on phones update centre

if you have been a user of Nokia u shul prefer some durable handset, likely sony or HTC and a little up from your range with good gaming and camera is Sony Xperia L

keeping in mind a good camera, plus better processor, its better option among all you mentioned, Xperia M has better processor but not that great camera you need and the pricing is high right now, almost equal to Xperia L , just bcz its newly launched and price must go down after some time

depends on the city you are leaving, sony outlet price is 30500, even it is not available with warranty, one that we got is 28900, under 14 months sony warranty from a dealer, phone with no warranty is availabe for less them 3K official price or may be even low, depending the origin that handset has been imported from

Other than that we have a feeling that Xperia L in warranty will be available at a lesser price after few days, as the handset with warranty just arrived in the market officially from Sony pakistan, one available with no warranty is imported one which has nothing to do with the official release from sony pakistan, though these handset even do not get fault, but you shud prefer warranty one if their is no big diff

this issue is present in this device, its not only your device, only thing till now is just keep using it as it is, as it does nt damage any thing, but its a drawback of the device

factory reset is one of the problem solver itself, but as Qmobile models respond almost similar problems you shud better contact Qmobile service center for the purpose

i am used to of branded cell phones, and a900 camera is not good as compare to other branded phones.. pictures are noisy even with HDR.
according to box, a900 has 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera
but in camera setting it says picture size 6MP with rear camera and 1MP with front camera
why is it so???????? :-O

we do not know how is it possible, bcz the same model we have checked, ans it is actually an 8MP device, camera quality yes is not that good, we just lost camera samples that we made,

but what we guess your problem is can be rectified by below procedure

just go to camera settings > Preview Size> set it to Standard (4:3) instead of Full screen, hope you got our point, and your problem will be solved

A900 camera module is itself noisy, till now we did nt see any OTA update seeding for A900 but the actual company did release a camera update for its own named brand, hope to see same for A900 soon, but for getting best result from what you have right now we are soon going to post a review on Voice Xtreme V60, its comparison to various branded handsets, taking them as benchmark, and few tweaks, before and after clicking pics are in process, we are checking them on daily basis and judging the result, but its not one day game so we will post it soon, stay connected to our facebook page

Faizan the camera of V60 is good compare to A900, and there is no doubt in it :)

OTA is over the air update, it means when company releases the update, a notification will pop out from update centre of your cell phone, you will allow to update when connected with internet, and it will automatically start downloading and then applying that changes, it is similar to that of applications are updated from Playstore

when u installed this OTA? was nt it able to be applied? or what is the issue now, normally when you install OTA in any phone the next thing it does is it brings changes to ur current OS and the firmware changes to updated one, in your case what else is happening?

you are viewing through pc suite of Noir A900? is it necessary due to some reason ?

if you want to view your contacts on pc here is one solution, just install Contacts back up and restore that supports that back up file to be easily read in HTML i.e your PV prowser and you can copy paste from their, their are many in playstore, just check which one works for you

yes we have mentioned it in previous comments while telling solution to some one, btw other than icon duplication issue, other lagging problems are also cured by installing launcher, and VOVA is a good one for that :)

yes sure Qmobile has very bad service centre dealings, and they have to correct it now, else their are compitent replacements available now, and their monopoly of pricing high is going to end as well :)

just install any other keyboard from play store and then check if problem still exist

Fane it depends on personal wish first diff is the WP vs Android OS difference, second is Nokia vs Qmobile, both handsetsare gud in their own capacities, this is not a fair comparison as Nokia 520 is just PKR 15000, device while A900 is PKR 22000 device, well if dual sim, high gaming, and multiple apps of Android is not needed, lumia 520 is better choice with better build quality and long time serviceability guarantee of the product compare to inferior quality of Qmobile

one last question......can u comment on korean fones available in market.....r they reliable ....mostly these fones are available copy of S4 or S3

personally checked S3 , S4 and s3 mini copies, all has same processor, only s3 mini was comparable to some extent with original s3 mini, but it also had problem of damaging battery, so our advise is not to go for these copies, instead their are korean handsets, i.e original samsung but made for korean and they are locked to be used in korea, if you get one of those, unlocked for local use, then that is the actuall original thing else, go for voice, Q, G5, they are better choices in comparison to mentioned clones

walaikum as salam, over all xperia L is better handset in comparison, now to ur second concern abt buying with out warranty and how to identify a refurbished phone answer is better buy handset with a reliable dealer, thats what you can do bcz in most of cases every possible ways are used to cheat in the market, only reliable handset sellers provide you good hansets

both of them have similar prformance, but in both few games are not available, but you can install every game by using .apk files
