Sony announced Xperia T2 Ultra Single and Dual Sim

Sony announced Xperia T2 Ultra as a mid-range 6.0-inch phablet designed to target the likes of Samsung Galaxy Mega price range and provide competition to the same. The handset is targetted for the asian and other emerging markets. But this does not take out many special and top range smartphone facilities out from this phone.

The Xperia T2 Ultra sports 6.0-inch, 1280x720 resolution display with TRILUMINOS, Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and it has as fancy looks and screen quality as any other Sony top range phone.

Detailed specifications are a 1.4Ghz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage with microSD card slot. A 3,000mAh battery with Sony's Battery STAMINA mode. Single and Dual sim variants with black, white and purple colors will be available.

13 MP (4128 x 3096 pixels) with LED flash, having a Exmor RS sensor with video capability of 1080p @30 fps and 1.1 MP front camera with Exmor R sensor, capable of video 720p@30fps.

First Mediatek True Octacore Phone

Chinese manufacturer UMI announced a phone having real Octacore smartphone named UMI X2S, instead of two Quadcores working simultaneously like that of SAMSUNG. This chipset is manufactured by MediaTek as MT6592, the chip can access all 8 cores at one time. This is in comparison to the Samsung Exynos 5 octa-core processor which uses the big.LITTLE architecture and can only have one group of four cores active at a time.

The UMI X2S was displayed at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair which ended on Wednesday. The device is the sequel to the UMI X2. The manufacturer traditionally uses MediaTek silicon which is usually priced lower than processors made by other firms, like Qualcomm. The UMI X2S features a 5 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution, and processor is clocked at 1.5GHz MT6592 octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The 13MP snapper on back features a Sony made lens and the model supports NFC.

The price range is surprised to be around $ 250, but this is not a big surprise as the said price is only for china and if you want to get it any where outside china or India it will cost you atleast 25-50% costier then the said amount

SONY has launched a quad core device which is rite now the most power ful android device released upto date, yes it bets the HTC butterfly as well in the benchmark tests. Along with this it has special feature of dust and water proof for the front and the back panel, and it was able to record 3 minutes video inside water, which is pretty amazing and the first mobile of this kind to do this.
