Gright Inspire A880 ( TEKREVU's VERDICT)

In continuing our point of view regarding new handsets being launched in Pakistan, We continue to provide our review/ comment on paper specifications and news from relevant sources. We from the start adopted posting and alarming post on our Facebook page, how the pricing of handsets is going to be in next 3 months cycle, while this did benefit lot of users and gave us further joy when consumers turned back to us, with bundle of thanks because of their hard earned money was saved with our reporting in time,

Recently we posted about pricing of non LTE mediatek phones should not be considered at a price they are given , and just are dumped over scrap to pakistani phone market, by big players available locally, in the country.

Not very new but new to Smartphone line up, Gright is trying to inspire consumers, with their Inspire series, the few initial models were those we skipped to even discuss about, here is the first one that we would discuss just to inform that we know the company is in business and trying to provide an option beside Qmobile and Voice. One point to mention here is we have checked Gfive ourselves and ended up with making our view that except President G9, all the models we tested were piece of crap and we did nt like the devices at all, to be actually bother to share the video review with you guys, So here we would tell you to think thousand times before you think Gfive is an option for you as a smartphone company.

Gright has brought in Pakistan a phone that was launched back in February 2014 by almost ten companies, as internet is crowded with many reviews of Micromax Canvas  Knight (A350). You can browse further for the phone hidden pros and cons by many reviewers in India and around the world other reviews are also present. Few points we would like to discuss include

All glass and metallic design resembles what Sony was providing, since its launch of Xperia Z, So its a copy cat design with camera module popping out. Tactile buttons are good in quality and over all build and seems beautiful and durable,  Picture quality for both back and front is good but you will be missing a good amount of battery as it is limited to 2350 mAH, with no option to replace in case you need. Gright Inspire A880. A let down for consumers is from the 25GB only 1.97 GB is allocated for apps memory with no option of memory card.

Beside good looks and good camera, their are some cons to keep in mind, Poor wifi and Bluetooth reception was initial issues this device had since its launch and was the major reason for its failure at a price point of INR 20000, that it was launched for, 9 months back. One thing to mention here is that at same price point its biggest rival was Gionee's slimmest Smartphone which in our case is Qmobile Noir Z6( the previous slimmest Smartphone in the world) was able to sell better, thought it did nt get over whelming success after entry of Xiaomi(Now Banned for sales in India for infringing Ericsson patents).

Consumers may chose any of the offerings in pakistan , but with good specifications on paper, this device has some cons and again we would question three key points, that should be considered befor going for this device
1) Wifi and Bluetooth issue
2) Low Battery ( As for 1080P, 3000mAH is standard now for more than a day usage for moderate user)
3) No LTE means its price will drop in three months and come to its real worth under 15k in pakistan , so you can better understand what re-sale a Gright branded phone will give you.

Another let down is they even do nt know the true specifications of their phone :( so what are you expecting from these guys? (They mention in the advertising spec sheet, 16GB as its internal memory, while this device comes with 32 GB internal memory with 25GB available for media files and also supports part of applications additional data to be stored on it, while only 1.97 GB available for apps.)
